You Are Enough

Words are powerful and the mindset that goes with those words are equally strong! The age old saying “if you think you can, or you think you can’t…..you’re right” is still true! So how do we take what we are saying and make it match how we are feeling? I used to think the only option was affirmations and with enough practice and time spent saying the words I would start believing and feeling it too! But there was always this thought in my mind that I was “lying” to myself in some way. You too?? 

Let me introduce to you afformations…a concept that Noah St. John shares about in his book “Afformations: The Miracle of Positive Self-Talk (https://amzn.to/2DAK8Aq, aff. link) The concept is instead of repeating the same affirming statements is to first start with a question you would like answered, like Why am I so healthy and fit? Why am I worthy? Why am I attracting abundance in my life? This method helps you identify the stumbling blocks in your life and by asking the question, you brain goes to work to provide a solution and once you have determined the solution you can then form that into an affirmation statement like I am so happy & grateful that I’m creating healthy habits and sticking to my meal plan!
